Universal Works are quite a big deal when it comes to British workwear, they don’t believe in following seasonal trends but believe in good honest quality pieces. This suit waistcoat is no exception. the craftsmanship gone into this is undeniable.

For starters there’s the deep navy cotton front with tonal brown buttons. Then there’s the ‘out there’ patchwork panelling on the back which continues as a trim around the collar and on front pocket of this waistcoat. There is a half back silver belt given you the option of wearing it fitted or looser (after a hefty meal).

This one is clearly a twist on an old classic. Universal Works have added two handy front pockets I guess you could put a pocket watch in em if you want to take it that far. This one gets the GB stamp of approval.
